How do you feel when you wake up in the morning, not feeling rejuvenated and refreshed from a restful sleep but feeling pain all over your face and when you want to sleep at night but instead get all stress up because of your persistent cough, , throbbing headache, nasal obstruction and nasal drainage? These are some of the symptoms of a sinus infection and these are not only for just a few hours, or just a day but can drag on for weeks and in some chronic cases for months. If you do not seek the appropriate treatment fast, your health, body, mind and spirit will be spiraling downhill, affecting your daily life. Each and everyone of us wants to transform our life for better health, waking up to each day full of energy and invigorated, ready to overcome any challenges and achieving our goals but do not know how and where to start.

Let me share with you a real story of how a simple remedy was born and after reading it, you can decide whether this remedy is worth trying. Symptoms of a sinus infection do not just go away overnight, most medications are not quick fixes but require time, energy and commitment, not to mention the money spent.

But how do you like the idea when someone had done all the research and experiments for you and all you have to do is to use it as instructed and feeling the relief within minutes and waking up finding your sinus gone forever after just 3 days of using it! Sounds too good to be true. Most cures or even inventions come from accidents and this remedy is just that – an accident. A sinus sufferer for almost 15 years, decided to do his own research when his doctor told him that his only cure to end his sufferings would be to go under the knife but with no guarantee.

He knew the key to success was research and he kept searching for answers to obvious questions such as -
what causes the symptoms of a Sinus Infection, what makes it worse and better and why does it come back and hundreds more.

He studied the work of Doctors, Professors and listened to Nurses, Natural Health Practitioners, anybody who had anything to say and obviously he researched every Sinus Infection treatment, every home remedy and alternative.

He then studied the work of Mother Nature and almost gave up when he made an amazing discovery on one rainy Saturday afternoon. He was sitting in a university library with his researcher, medical books piled high on their desk. Whilst studying the experiments of a student Doctor, he read something they had completely missed and Eureka, he discovered a new breakthrough using just a few simple plant ingredients destroyed the symptoms of a sinus infection.

He tested his discovery with volunteers, friends, colleagues and of course himself and he was astonished to find that the health of every single person improved – some immediately and dramatically and they were cleared of their sinus infection starting in just 3 days.

Bad breath remedies to use for emergencies

badbreath_header

When you have sinusitis, you would most probably have bad breath or halitosis. If you are not sure whether you have bad breath, try breathing on the back of your hands.  You will automatically smell the odor as it comes out of your mouth.

The annoying thing about bad breath is that you cannot rid of it instantly. Are you a social butterfly or have to rush for a meeting where you are supposed to meet with one of your biggest clients in the company and you have to talk a lot? You must think of some quick bad breath remedies.

Here are some ways that you can save yourself from embarrassment:

  • Drink water.  Water can help to clean your mouth and freshens your breath for a period of time. Do you notice that your breath especially smells when you have dry mouth? This is due to bacteria remaining stagnant in your mouth and they multiply and release toxins and odors. Moist your mouth with water to wash off these bacteria and if you do not like the bland taste of water, squeeze some lemon or lime juice.
  • Chewing on a piece of candy or gum is another bad breath remedies which you can use in a jiff.  Your breath will stay fresh at least for that period of time.  If you start talking, do not have the piece of candy swirling in your mouth.
  • If you don’t have any mints or gum while you’re out eating, you can eat the parsley that is used for decoration with your meal.  Chew on the parsley for a few minutes.  You may have to rinse out your mouth with a glass of water as you do not want people to see any green particles on your teeth.
  • If you have a toothbrush handy, you can quickly brush your teeth and use clean tissue to wipe off the residue.  This is a good strategy if you haven’t made it to your destination and you’re not near a rest room.
  • You can quickly scrape your tongue with a scraper or a spoon.  The thing about this bad breath remedies is that you will have to go somewhere in private.  If you can find a bathroom, then you can attempt to do this.  If you have any white spots on your tongue, remove them with the scraper or the spoon.
  • If you drink alcohol, you will like this one.  If you drink a small shot of whiskey, you can get away with getting rid of your bad breath for a while.  It has been said that whiskey can get rid of germs that are on your teeth.  This is not a promotion of drinking alcohol, but it has been said to work, so it is your choice whether or not you want to try this.  The only caution is not to drink a lot of it, or you could become rather intoxicated.

It is advisable to consult your doctor when you have persistent bad breath as other than sinusitis; there are many other causes like indigestion, gum disease or even tonsillithiasis.  You have to find out the exact cause as bad breath remedies can only temporarily rid bad breath but cannot rid what is causing it.

The healing power of water as a sinus infection home remedy

3bottles

We can discover many potent sinus infection home remedy when we know how to make use of nature which is water, air, sunlight, climate and earth.

In this article, I would like to write on how we can use water as a healing agent in treating your sinus infection. Water is the elixir of life and there are many ways to use water’s cleansing and rejuvenating powers to improve our health and vitality.

  1. Hot arm bath
Immerse one arm at a time into a tub of water which gets progressively hotter to increase the beneficial effects.  Add a few drops of essential oils and be more creative when using them like when you want to treat your cough or colds, use eucalyptus, for sinus, use basil, for shortness of breath, use lavender or mix these oils as they are commonly used to treat health problems related to the respiratory system.
This hydrotherapeutic treatment is a very effective sinus infection home remedy as it not only can relieve your infection but can also bring down blood pressure and helps you to relax and be able to sleep better.
  2. Hot and Cold water full bath
This treatment is very effective at reducing congestion, opening the sinus area and helps to liquefy thick mucus that is building up in your sinus cavity.
Cold water has a stimulating effect, constricting the blood vessels and inhibiting biochemical reactions that cause the inflammation. Warm or hot water dilates the blood vessels, increasing the flow of blood to the skin and reducing blood pressure and to have a more relaxing effect, try adding a few drops of peppermint, menthol or thyme.
It is recommended to take cold baths in the morning on waking up and hot baths at night before going to sleep and not to take a bath immediately after a meal, wait for at least 2 hours. When there is slight reddening of the skin or a feeling of intense cold or heat indicates that it is time to finish the bath.
  3. Foot baths at alternate temperatures
This simple footbath therapy is an extremely useful sinus infection home remedy as it can stimulate circulation in the veins and arteries and as such extremely effective to combat sinus headaches as it clears the congestion of blood accumulated in the head, thus relieving your head tensions. Put both feet in a basin of hot water first then in the cold and repeat this cycle for three to five times. Once when you have finished this therapy, rub your feet and put on your socks and go to bed.
  4. Moist Heat
Taking a warm shower is a very simple, cheap and yet very effective sinus infection home remedy to relieve your sinus pain but will also help to increase drainage and blood flow to your sinus area. When you inhale the steam during the warm shower, helps to clear and thin the mucus in your sinuses.

Water helps to keep our respiratory system hydrated which prevents a build-up of thick mucus in your sinus cavity. Some experts believe that dehydration underlies many health problems as water helps to flush out toxins to keep our cells and organs healthy. It is recommended to drink at least 2-3 liters of fresh water a day but coffee, tea or alcoholic drinks are not included as they are dehydrating.
